Spring 2019 Collection

This mini collection was showcased in the MODA Spring 2019 Fashion Show. My inspriation came from my time studying abroad in Florence, Italy. Each garment is made from silk and hand-dyed. Two garments include trash fabric made from pulling apart spools of silk thread and going through a 4-step process to turning it into a sheet of durable fabric. My third design is a bias-cut dress that incorporates color blocking. It is a modern-day cross reference between the 1930s and 1960s. This dress also serves as my honors thesis project.
